Health and Welfare LPA

Both LPAs

Prepare both types together for more complete protection.

Start Both LPAs

One person or a couple

Tell us at the first stage of the questionnaire whether you are arranging documents for yourself alone or for you and a partner. For couples, a second application can be duplicated from the first so details are not typed twice.

Any Office of the Public Guardian registration fee is charged separately from our preparation fee. Fees and any fee-reduction or exemption arrangements are maintained by the administrator in the portal's pricing settings and can be updated without changing the website.

Why an LPA matters

Planning ahead, calmly

Choose the people you trust

You decide who may act for you, rather than leaving that decision to a later application to the Court of Protection.

Make your wishes clearer

Preferences and instructions can be recorded so your attorneys understand what matters to you.

Help your family avoid uncertainty

Clear authority means relatives are not left guessing about who should speak to a bank, landlord or care team.

Prepare before an emergency occurs

An LPA can only be made while you have mental capacity, so it is sensible to arrange one in good time.

Personal support

Online convenience, with a real person behind it.

You are not left alone with an automated document. Everything you enter is read by our team, and where anything needs clarifying we arrange a telephone or video conversation before your documents are prepared.

  • Help with unclear questions
  • Review of attorney arrangements
  • Discussion of preferences and instructions
  • Signing and witnessing guidance
  • Support after documents are issued

Wider planning

An LPA may be only one part of your plan.

Many people who arrange an LPA also have other matters worth reviewing. The optional check takes a few minutes and simply highlights areas to raise with your adviser — it does not recommend a product or give legal advice.

Take the Estate Planning Check
  • A new or updated Will
  • Property or Trust planning
  • Inheritance-tax planning
  • Business succession planning
  • Shareholder protection
  • Document storage and periodic reviews

About us

Marshall Wills & Trusts

Established in 2017 and based in Andover, we help individuals, families and business owners put sensible arrangements in place. Appointments are available in person and remotely, so you can choose whatever feels most comfortable.

Our work covers Wills, Trusts, Lasting Powers of Attorney and wider estate planning. Whatever you begin online, a person reads it, checks it and talks it through with you.

I personally review each submitted case before the documents are prepared. My aim is to make the process clear, comfortable and properly supported.

Questions people often ask

These answers are general information about how LPAs work in England and Wales. They are not personalised legal advice — your adviser will discuss your own circumstances with you.

What happens after you submit?

We review your information and contact you to arrange the next stage. Completing the questionnaire does not create or register your LPA, and no documents should be signed until we provide your signing pack and instructions.
